Who I am?
A strong believer in the power of design – it transforms an idea into an innovative product that solves everyday problems
My philosophy
Nothing great is ever achieved without zeal - strip things down to their core purpose & design fundamental experiences
How I work
Scope process from creation to consumption – I think beyond myself to recognise emotions & perspective of others
A year after graduating with a degree in Biotechnology, I hung my lab coat, turned my passion for design into a career and began my journey into UI/UX Design.
Being curious about how people interact with digital products led me on an ongoing journey to understand users, define problems, and develop practical solutions.
Why UI/UX, you may wonder? As technology evolves, navigating digital features can get increasingly complex. As a designer, I have the opportunity to create simple, beautifully crafted experiences that align with the objective of a business.
Transform product requirements into user-friendly and interactive interfaces that simplify how users navigate through complex technical features on multiple products.
Design visual components, graphic elements, navigation systems and high-fidelity prototypes that are efficient and simplify the user experience of products using Figma
Deliver products that transform experiences using insights from market research and user research.
Define the key features, specifications, requirements and timeline of products based on customer preferences and manage the development team’s delivery.
Manage the delivery of three products – a learning experience platform, a quality training design platform, and a radio app for customer and admin users.
Lead the product team to identify the pain points and the business objectives that PharmIQ will be fulfilling. PharmIQ is a pharmacy management software that houses a B2B Marketplace and an ERP.
Represent the voice of the customer by getting constant feedback from 280+ PharmIQ users, providing support and reviewing usage analytics to gain insights on improving user experience.
Align with stakeholders on the product’s vision, milestones and development pathway.
Responsible for backlog grooming, roadmap planning, defining milestones, sprint planning, sprint retrospective and managing deliveries from developers using the agile methodology.
Transform the product requirements into user-friendly interactive interfaces that simplify how users navigate through complex technical features on PharmIQ and share them with developers to implement.
Design usable and desirable visual features, graphic elements, navigation components and high-fidelity prototypes that are efficient and improve the user experience.
Step 2 → Define
Analyze consumer behaviour, assess existing solutions, and define the core problem, user needs, and pain points.
Step 3 → Conceptualise
Explore personas, wireframes, and user stories, for a user-centred approach. Then, define goals, features, and scope for optimal business impact.
Step 4 → Design
Integrate findings and product objectives, desiging an experience that enables users to achieve their goals effortlessly.
Step 5 → Support Development
Hand off designs and collaborate closely with developers, providing designs and facilitating their implementation.
Step 6 → Test
Throughout development, I analyse the interaction and usability, validating concepts and identifying areas for enhancement.
Step 7 → Launch
The product is live doesn't mean the work is done. Now, I listen to users to discover opportunities for growth.
Step 8 → Learn
I monitor the performance of the product to inform what needs adjustment and to validate the need for any incremental development.

In a bid to give back to the community, I talk to new individuals in the industry about UI/UX design.
Mentorship
I serve as a mentor for individuals starting out in design – with a specific interest in connecting with people from under-represented backgrounds. We discuss career options, remote collaboration, design systems, feedback design, portfolio standards and more...
Inspiration
Learning, like Design, is never complete. I continuously learn and go through resources that help me refine my thinking as a designer – I share them with the hope that they positively influence the journey of other designers.
